After 24 hours of travel, we found ourselves in one of the most surreal places Design Seed has ever featured. Hidden among the golden sand dunes of Zhongwei, China, this architectural marvel rises like a futuristic sculpture borne by the sand and stars.

From the very first step into its windswept expanse, you’re greeted by a vision unlike any other. Designed with the desert in mind, every space within this hotel grandly frames the desert’s breathtaking beauty.
